The next Pelikan is a huge pen, both in stature and because of its inspiration. The Pelikan Hercules is an M1000 sized pen with stunning guilloche engraving under blue lacquer with sterling points shining through to represent the stars of the constellation. This cloisonne work on the barrel and cap is beautiful to see in person.

The pen is presented in one of the largest outer boxes I have seen with a pen. The outer box opens to show the pen enclosed in a perspex box with the globe ink bottle along with it. The perspex box could be easily used as a desk base for this magnificent pen.

The nib is a typical M1000 XF 18K two tone which has been tuned to write smoothly with excellent flow. The pen has been inked, but is in near mint condition otherwise.  

The Hercules Limited Edition was a release of 800 pens and includes sterling silver trim for a very luxurious writing experience.
